At PRIME Steakhouse, that means a Seafood Plateau Royale followed by a New York strip from Japan’s Hokkaido Prefecture. The Mayfair Supper Club turns “dinner and a show” into the ultimate dinner party, with elevated cuisine, live performances, high glamour, and unforgettable views of Bellagio’s dancing fountains. And for a nightcap, choose your flavor of Vegas: The Pinky Ring by Bruno Mars turns up the volume with cocktails and live music in a glamorous lounge created by the superstar himself. The Vault Cocktail Lounge hides within the casino, its collection of rare spirits, fine wines, and bespoke cocktails providing a suitably discreet place to toast the day’s birdies—or forget the bogeys and the busts.

Extravagance at Bellagio doesn’t always arrive on a plate or in a glass. Primping and pampering hair and nail services for men and women are next level at the newly remodeled Salon and barbershop. The 14,000-square-foot Conservatory & Botanical Gardens undergoes elaborate seasonal transformations throughout the year, while Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art presents rotating exhibitions drawn from notable collections. Then there’s O, Cirque du Soleil’s spectacular aquatic production, whose acrobats, artistic swimmers, and divers perform in, on, and above the water. And then, inevitably, the fountains begin again.

They are a fitting emblem for a resort—and a city—built around the conviction that spectacle is worth pursuing. You could come to Las Vegas and play it conservatively. But after a morning at Shadow Creek, an afternoon beside the pool, dinner overlooking the fountains, and a night upstairs in a newly remodeled Bellagio Tower suite, restraint may seem distinctly overrated.
